Train tickets

Back then people used tickets to get on and off trains.

The reason for tickets were to show that people paid

And didn’t just hop on .Prices back then, were very cheap well, to us anyway. £12.50 is the modern price.

Trains were a bit dangerous because of their wide –open

Doors .Nowadays people pay more money for extra luggage. People who worked there wore a shirt, tie,

Shoes and a suit. Then they would go up

To a ticket man (or woman). The passenger would give the ticket master money and the ticket master would give the

Passenger the ticket .Then the passenger would wait until the train they got a ticket for arrives at the station. The passenger then gets on the train and enjoys the journey.

If the journey is very long, then the passenger will get off at the closest station and will do the same steps as before.
