We are reading the children’s classic “The Railway Children” as our class novel. We are discussing the characters, the Author E. Nesbit, the setting and predicting the story. We are enjoying making our own booklets based on the book. See picture below.
We are also learning the poem “From a Railway Carriage” by Robert Louis Stephenson and composed our own train poems. We have also enjoyed watching a dvd of the Railway children brought in by Ciara.
